Production Assistant/Machine Assistant
Responsibilities:
As a Machine Assistant-Production Associate, you will be responsible for helping to fill customer orders, assisting Machine Operators in operating equipment to create finished goods, packaging products, and upholding our safety standards.
- Assist Machine Operators to keep lines running to specification.
- Build spools for finished product to be produced on.
- Maintain spool supermarket.
- Deliver parts to machines.
- Accurately label rolls.
- Perform quality testing and ensure product is within customer specifications.
- Use assisted lifting device when necessary to load rolls onto a skid.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, operating, and maintenance instructions.
- Assist with 5s activities.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A creative approach and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read a ruler/tape measure.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; climb steps up 3 levels high, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
- A strong desire, dedication, and determination to succeed, by continually improving skills through on-the-job training and various offered educational opportunities.
Icing on the cake:
- Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or related area.

Temporary to hire
Schedules are 5am-5pm, 5pm-5am rotate every 2 weeks; 2-2-3 schedule
Orientations are every 2 weeks
