Referral Therapy Scheduler

The position is Monday through Friday and has the potential to be a remote position after adequate training has been done in-person which can be up to 90 days in office located at our Midtown location of 2004 Hayes Street, Nashville, TN.

• Meet or exceed expectations in providing extreme customer service to our patients and team members
• Meet or exceed goals for all assigned productivity metrics
• Promptly answer all calls, voicemails, and emails
• Schedule therapy evaluations and guide patients to the appropriate MPOWER clinic based on Clinic Manager needs, referring Physician instructions, insurance, patient status (post-operative vs. non-operative), and patient preference
• Update physician clinic teams and EMR to include date of inital evaluation and clinic location
• Execute daily processes relate to incoming MPOWER Therapy referrals
  • Complete post-operative appointment scheduling actions per process
  • Maintain the Outside Referral Tracking Log accurately with updated data daily per proces
• Provide support to other Therapy Scheduling Roles after primary daily responsibilities are completed
• Recommend additions for Outside Therapy Clinic list
• Provide primary back up and support for Online Appointment Request Submissions
• Provide secondary back up and support for VIP, Partner School Athlete and Manager scheduling requests
• Maintain work schedule as assigned by Therapy Scheduling Supervisor
• Prepare for, attend and actively participate in all meetings as scheduled
• Adhere daily to the MPOWER Telework Policy
• Assist other roles in Therapy Scheduling Department as assigned by Therapy Scheduling Supervisor

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma is required
• Bachelor’s from an accredited university is preferred
• Training or experience in a fitness center, therapy clinic, or orthopedic clinic is preferred
• Excellent follow up skills with patients, clients and fellow team members
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time appropriately
• Interest and passion for personal health and wellness
• Kind and helpful personality
• Ability to handle difficult people and situations
• Comfortable effectively using MS Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and various internet applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Neat and professional appearance
