MPOWER is seeking a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused Physical Therapy Technician to join our team in Franklin, TN! This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in an outpatient therapy setting while working alongside licensed therapists and supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
What You'll Do

Assist licensed therapists with therapeutic exercises and patient care activities.

Provide appropriate exercise guidance and cueing under the direction of the supervising therapist.

Administer appropriate therapeutic modalities as directed.

Help patients move safely throughout the clinic, including assisting with transfers and transportation to treatment areas.

Communicate patient progress, questions, and concerns to the supervising therapist.

Assist with patient scheduling, appointment reminders, cancellations, and no-show follow-up.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment.

Assist front desk staff with administrative tasks as needed.

Support the Clinic Manager and Lead Therapy Technician with assigned projects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Training or experience in orthopedic care is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Basic knowledge in exercise physiology, bio mechanics and exercise techniques
- Working knowledge of basic anatomy
- Successful completion of the MPOWER Tech Training manual and exam after training
- Comfortable effectively using MS Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Ability to work with Practice Management software as required after training
- Good communication skills and the ability to perform patient education duties
