Are you a Medical Assistant looking to work in a fast-paced orthopedic and sports medicine setting? Join our team and work alongside experienced Doctors, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners.
As a Clinical Assistant, you will play an important role in keeping our clinics running smoothly and helping provide an excellent patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Rooming patients and preparing them for their appointments
- Taking patient histories and documenting information in the electronic medical record
- Preparing exam rooms and assisting providers during patient visits
- Communicating patient concerns and information to the provider
- Assisting with suture removal, injection preparation, and brace fitting
- Helping carry out provider orders
- Scheduling surgeries and follow-up appointments
- Providing patients with instructions and education
- Documenting office visits and patient communication
- Helping maintain an organized and efficient clinic environment
On-the-job training is provided for the right candidate.
Schedule: Monday–Friday with no weekends, holidays, or late nights.
This position is primarily focused on patient care within the clinic.
Compensation based on experience.
Qualifications:Education and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education preferred
- Medical Assistant: Certification or registration through an accredited national institution
- Medical assisting training preferred
- Proficiency using email and interacting with Internet applications
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform patient education duties
