Position Overview
Elite Sitters & Care Co. is seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny on behalf of a family in Bowie, Maryland. This is a temporary full-time position beginning in approximately two weeks, with the potential to extend through October.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with toddlers, is dependable, engaging, and committed to providing high-quality, developmentally appropriate care in a nurturing home environment.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Position Duration
- August and September
- Potential to extend into October
Child
- One 17-month-old toddler
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care throughout the day
- Plan age-appropriate play and developmental activities
- Prepare meals and snacks for the child
- Diapering and assisting with daily routines
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Follow the family's routines and preferences
- Communicate with parents regarding the child's day
Qualifications
- Previous professional childcare or nanny experience
- Experience caring for toddlers preferred
- Reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable working in a home with one cat and one small dog
- Excellent communication and professionalism
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$30 per hour, based on experience
- Opportunity for the position to extend beyond the initial assignment
