What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Anesthesia Assistant position at Elite Sedation?
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Anesthesiology Assistant to join our clinical team. In this role, you will travel to different offices in the Inland Empire and Los Angeles County and assist the dental anesthesiologist during sedation and anesthesia procedures while helping ensure patient safety and comfort throughout dental and oral surgery treatments. Compensation will be given for travel per mile round trip.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dental anesthesiologist during sedation and anesthesia procedures
- Prepare anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices
- Monitor and record patient vital signs before, during, and after procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures and review medical histories
- Assist with patient recovery and post-anesthesia monitoring
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Follow infection control and OSHA safety guidelines
- Support emergency protocols when needed
Qualifications
- Dental assisting or healthcare experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Pay increase if PALS and ACLS certified
- Experience with sedation dentistry, oral surgery, or anesthesia support is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred if live in the Inland Empire
Ability to speak Spanish

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 per week
