Immediate Security Officer positions (Flex)

We are seeking several licensed Armed Security Officers to join our team. The selected candidates will patrol and secure assigned premises, ensure the safety of staff and patrons, and proactively identify risks and security concerns.

Elite Security Professionals, LLC is recognized as a leader in providing security services in Middle Tennessee. We provide safety for commercial properties and events. We are looking to hire great Security Officers immediately.

All armed applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must possess an active Armed Security Officer license for the State of Tennessee.
• Must provide your own equipment, including:
• The firearm you were trained and certified with
• Duty belt
• Level II or Level III holster
• Magazine pouch
• Less-than-lethal certification and corresponding less-than-lethal attachments (optional at start)
• Dallas Law certification (optional at start)
  

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
  
  

Job Description

For all positions, you must:

• Possess a current state certification for armed guard
• Multiple shifts available
• Reliable transportation
• Possess a current and valid driver's license
• Possess a smartphone with a data plan
• at least 2 years of security experience; military/corrections experience may substitute
• military or correctional facility experience is preferred for armed officers
• strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work nights and weekends
