Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and communication
- Monitor project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore to meet deadlines
- Oversee quality control processes by inspecting work sites, reviewing blueprints and schematics, and ensuring adherence to safety standards like OSHA regulations
- Manage on-site personnel including supervising experience crews, assigning tasks, and providing guidance for optimal performance
- Control project budgets by tracking costs, managing procurement of materials via HeavyBid or similar estimating tools, and minimizing waste
- Conduct regular site inspections using tools like an ohmmeter and ensure compliance with all safety protocols including OSHA standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site supervision with a strong background in construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, or Bluebeam
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes
- Familiarity with contracts management and project scheduling techniques
- Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents including construction plans and specifications
- Strong management skills with a history of supervising teams in heavy civil or infrastructure projects such as pipelines or other large-scale developments
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively across multiple stakeholders and ensure project alignment
