Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Labor/ Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will play a crucial part in ensuring safety standards, and supporting the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse equipment and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock levels within the warehouse management system.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed to maintain safety.
- Assist in building pallets for shipment and organizing products within the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any issues promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse management systems is beneficial for effective inventory control.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards is advantageous for maintaining a safe working environment.
