Job Summary:
Elite Rehab Phenix City is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Tech to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Tech, you will assist in providing patient care and support to our physical therapy department. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in healthcare and gaining hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
Duties:
- Assist physical therapists with patient treatments and exercises
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Escort patients to and from therapy rooms
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy rooms and equipment
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records
- Provide exceptional patient service by ensuring their comfort and addressing their needs during therapy sessions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
