Location: West Hartford, CT
Compensation: $90,000–$105,000 Base
Schedule: Hybrid
We are partnering with an established, global manufacturing organization seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on accounting responsibilities while gaining exposure to financial analysis, forecasting, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end close, journal entries, and accruals.
- Prepare general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with fixed asset and inventory accounting.
- Analyze financial results, identify variances, and support management reporting.
- Participate in forecasting and financial analysis.
- Partner with operations and finance leadership to improve reporting and processes.
- Support internal controls and audit activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Manufacturing or industrial accounting experience is a plus.
