A company in Litchfield County is looking to hire a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with 1–5 years of corporate accounting experience who wants broad exposure across AP, AR, treasury, month-end, and general accounting.
What You’ll Do:
- Support AP/AR and payroll processes
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries & reconciliations
- Handle treasury activities, cash management & bank recs
- Prepare and analyze financial reports
- Partner with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely updates
- Support audits and provide documentation as needed
- Take on additional general accounting tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–5 years of corporate accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred)
- Strong understanding of AP, AR & general ledger
- Solid Excel skills
- Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar helpful)
- Comfortable working onsite full-time
