Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physical Therapist based in Okatie, SC. The Physical Therapist will assess and treat individuals with physical disorders or injuries affecting movement and function. Responsibilities include creating and implementing rehabilitation plans, providing hands-on therapy, educating patients on exercises and recovery strategies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment approaches. The role also involves monitoring patient progress and continuously adjusting plans for optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Physical Therapy techniques and practices, including Rehabilitation
- Expertise in Patient Care, with an emphasis on developing and executing personalized treatment plans
- Experience or knowledge in Medicine and its application to physical recovery and wellness
- Experience in Home Care and delivering therapy in diverse environments based on patient needs
- Licensed Physical Therapist (DPT preferred) with a valid state license in South Carolina
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting patient relationships
- Commitment to continued education and staying updated on the latest techniques and advancements in physical therapy
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
