Compensation

• Starting pay of $28.00 per hour

Education: associate degree

Qualifications

• Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• Passion for orthopedic rehabilitation and patient-centered care
• Commitment to delivering exceptional clinical outcomes
• Desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Ability to build positive relationships with patients and teammates
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (PROMPT preferred)
• Dry Needling certification is a plus
• Graston Technique certification is a plus
• Experience with the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) is a plus
• Motivated to continue learning and developing clinical expertise
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, 45-minute treatment sessions for orthopedic patients
• Treat a wide variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Implement treatment plans developed in collaboration with Physical Therapists
• Complete daily documentation, billing, and visit notes accurately and on time
• Assist with insurance authorizations as needed
• Participate in monthly staff meetings and clinical in-services
• Support sports performance programs through individual and small group training opportunities
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment and assist with daily clinic operations
• Reconnect with former patients and support patient engagement initiatives
• Collaborate with PTs, PTAs, and Athletic Trainers to optimize patient outcomes
