We are an established outpatient physical therapy practice in Purchase, NY looking for a motivated Bilingual English/Spanish Medical Front Desk/Patient Coordinator to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to learn the business side of healthcare in a professional, friendly private-practice environment.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional experience
- Check patients in and out
- Answer phones and assist patients with questions
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Verify patient information and insurance
- Collect copayments
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Communicate with therapists and other staff to keep the office running smoothly
- Perform general administrative and front-desk duties
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent English and Spanish – required
- Friendly, professional personality
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable using computers
- Organized and able to multitask
- Ability to work well as part of a small team
- Medical office experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right entry-level candidate
