Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify prescriptions and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Provide medication counseling and clinical recommendations to patients.
- Administer immunizations in accordance with Ohio law.
- Oversee and support pharmacy technicians and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Manage inventory control and medication safety procedures.
- Collaborate with prescribers to optimize patient therapy.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy standards.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist License (in good standing).
- Pharm.D. or RPh degree from an accredited institution.
- Immunization certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with PioneerRx or similar pharmacy software.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving ability.
- Community engagement mindset.
Schedule:
- Part-time (18-27 hours per week).
- Some flexibility required.
- At least every other Saturday required.
