Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician (Data Entry) with prior experience in long-term care pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and familiarity with Framework LTC or similar pharmacy management software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter new prescriptions, refills, and medication changes into Framework (or comparable system)
• Review, verify, and process prescriptions to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Communicate effectively with prescribers, nurses, and internal staff regarding orders
• Assist with prior authorizations, refill requests, and documentation
• Collaborate with the billing and filling departments to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and state pharmacy laws
Qualifications:
• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license (or eligible for transfer)
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy data entry experience (LTC pharmacy preferred)
• Experience with Framework LTC software strongly preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking ability
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
