Job Title: Scheduler/Caregiver Coach (Greenfield, IN Hybrid/Overnight Travel)
We are seeking a diligent and compassionate Scheduler/Caregiver Coach to join our team. This dual-role position requires a blend of excellent organizational skills and a supportive attitude toward caregivers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient scheduling of caregiver activities while providing coaching and guidance to enhance their performance and well-being. Travel is required. This role includes overnight travel that could be multiple nights in a row (at the company expense) within the northern territory of Indiana. Our office is located in Greenfield, IN and the ideal candidate would reside in the footprint of that location.
Scheduling Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and maintain the scheduling of caregiver shifts, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency.
- Communicate any schedule changes promptly to caregivers and clients, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts by proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Utilize scheduling software to manage and update shifts and appointments effectively.
Caregiver Coaching Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to caregivers, helping them improve their skills and job satisfaction.
- Conduct regular home visits and check-ins with caregivers to address any concerns or feedback and facilitate open communication. This requires travel throughout northern Indiana with the possibility of multiple nights in a row.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance caregivers’ professional development and adherence to best practices.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in scheduling, preferably within healthcare or caregiving environments.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and support a team effectively.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with scheduling software and tools.
- A proactive problem-solver with an empathetic approach.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience working as a caregiver and/or scheduler is highly desirable.
Compensation:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour - based on experience.
