Orthodontic Assistant - $19-$29/hour

Our office is seeking a talented and experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our team.

Compensation: DOE

Schedule: Varying Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm Friday 7am-4pm and one Saturday a month 8am-1:30pm Availability for Full time if willing to go to our other offices

Duties for our Orthodontic Assistant Include:

• Ensuring that all orthodontic instruments and equipment are properly sterilized before each use.
• Taking intraoral X-rays of patients’ mouths.
• Taking photographs of patients’ teeth to aid the Orthodontist in developing treatment plans and to document patient progress.
• Taking dental molds of patients’ teeth for the fabrication of customized mouth guards and retainers.
• Removing and replacing wires, coil springs, donuts, and elastic bands.
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and braces aftercare.
