Location: Palm Beach
Position: PARAMEDIC
- Full time
- (*Part Time available, requirements 1 shift per week.)
Shift: 12hr and 24hr shifts available
Starting Salary Range for Full Time: $59,488.00 - $73,216.00 per year
Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance to patients in need
- Assess patients' conditions and administer appropriate medical treatment
- Perform airway management, including intubation and ventilation
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Conduct physical examinations and gather patient medical history
- Administer injections and medications as directed by medical protocols
- Perform venipuncture for blood draws and IV placement
- Transport patients safely to medical facilities, such as hospitals or clinics
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Paramedic or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with emergency room procedures and protocols
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with patient movement
-Proficient in administering medications and performing basic medical procedures.
