Nurse Practitioner

Elite Corporate Medical Services is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a full-time basis at our clinic in Porterville. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (Clinic is closed 1 hour for lunch). Elite Providers are responsible to:

• Use medical training, skills and clinical judgment to provide timely, responsive care to treat a multi-cultural patient population.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
• Work independently, contacting offsite supervising physician as needed regarding patient care.
• Responsible for personalized treatment of patients, ensuring care is relevant for short and long term outcomes.
• Responsible for seeing all scheduled and walk-in patients each day.
• Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs and in accordance with practice guidelines.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks.

• Must have an active California Nurse Practitioner License and be Board Certified.
• Must have or be able to obtain an active Furnishing License and DEA registration within 120 days of hire.
• Must have or be able to obtain BLS Certification within 10 days of hire.
• Must be or become proficient in utilizing medical equipment and technology relevant to the role (e.g., DME, EMR (eClinicalWorks), etc.).
