Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed and certified healthcare professional responsible for providing advanced clinical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health education. In a chiropractic or integrative medical setting, the NP collaborates with chiropractors and other providers to deliver holistic, patient-centered care. This position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical
examinations.

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within the NP’s scope of practice.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, X-rays, or other imaging.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications
and therapies as appropriate.
- Provide patient education on diagnoses, medications, wellness strategies, and lifestyle
modifications.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Collaborate with chiropractors, therapists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate
care plans.
- Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals when needed.
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews to enhance patient outcomes.
- Ensure continuity of care through accurate documentation and communication.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records in the electronic health
record (EHR) system.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA and
scope-of-practice guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and chart audits as required.
Clinical Oversight & Support:
- May assist with in-office procedures, injections, or regenerative medicine treatments if
applicable to clinic services.

Monitor and manage follow-up care, lab results, and patient progress.
- Provide support for preventive care and wellness programs offered by the clinic.
Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP).
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the practicing state.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or other relevant
specialty.
- Minimum 1–3 years of clinical experience (experience in integrative, chiropractic, or
musculoskeletal care a plus).
- DEA registration for prescribing, if applicable.
Strong communication, diagnostic, and organizational skills.
