Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Program Director Assistant to support the daily operations of multiple after-school program sites across the Fort Worth area. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality programming, smooth logistics, and strong communication among staff, families, and school partners. The ideal candidate brings experience from a licensed child-care or youth program setting, familiarity with curriculum planning, and—preferably—background or education in mental health or related fields.

This is a Monday–Friday position.

  • Mon–Thu: 2:00 PM–6:00 PM
  • Fri: 12:00 PM–6:00 PM

This position requires regular travel between program sites within the Fort Worth region.

Key Responsibilities Program Support & Operations:

  • Assist the Program Director in managing daily operations across multiple after-school sites.
  • Conduct routine site visits to observe program quality, student engagement, and staff performance.
  • Support Site Directors and team members in maintaining a safe, structured, and enriching environment.
  • Help implement curriculum and activity schedules aligned with program goals.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating staff training and professional development.

Administrative & Logistical Support

  • Maintain accurate documentation, including attendance, incident reports, and program evaluation data.
  • Assist with supply ordering, inventory tracking, and distribution across sites.
  • Provide clerical support to ensure efficient administrative processes.
  • Support enrollment, parent communication, and account management.
  • Ensure program compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

Communication & Relationship Building

  • Serve as a liaison between schools, program staff, parents, and the Program Director.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with families, students, and community partners.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to Site Directors to help maintain high-quality programming.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative working environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in a licensed child-care facility or youth program required.
  • Experience with curriculum planning strongly preferred.
  • Background or education in mental health is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technology: Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, email, and record-keeping systems).
  • Other Requirements:
  • Must pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
  • First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt to changing needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Ability to Relocate:

  • Fort Worth, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
