Job Type: Part-Time
Elite Learning is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and educational environment for children in our after-school programs. We are seeking passionate After-School Teachers to engage students in hands-on learning activities and help create a positive, supportive space for every child.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Fun and Educational Activities: Plan and implement creative lessons and hands-on projects that support children’s learning and development.
- Support a Positive Environment: Supervise children to ensure safety and promote an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere.
- Engage and Interact: Participate in games and activities, guide teamwork, and help manage behavior positively.
- Communicate Effectively: Provide updates to parents about children’s experiences and collaborate with school staff and colleagues.
- Be a Role Model: Demonstrate professionalism, kindness, and enthusiasm that children can look up to.
- Professional Growth: Attend trainings and stay updated on best practices in child care and education.
What We’re Looking For:
- Age/Education: 18 with a high school diploma or GED. Coursework or degree in education or child development is a plus.
- Work Authorization :Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Background: Must pass a background check.
- Availability: Able to work during the program hours listed above.
- Experience: Prior experience with children in classroom, camp, or childcare settings preferred.
- Tech Skills: Comfortable with basic technology and willing to learn new tools.
- Physical Requirements: Able to lift and move supplies and actively participate in play.
