After School Site Director

Job Summary

We’re seeking a dedicated Site Director to lead our after-school program and oversee daily operations. In this role, you’ll supervise a team of teachers, create a positive and safe learning environment, and build strong relationships with students, families, and school staff.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of teachers, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Foster a consistent, positive classroom culture for both students and staff.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and enjoyable program environment.
• Motivate and support staff while upholding program standards and policies.
• Collaborate effectively with school staff, demonstrating professionalism under pressure.
• Ensure compliance with state and school guidelines.
• Maintain accurate attendance and program records using JackRabbit and other tools.
• Communicate with families using assigned Google Voice and email accounts.
• Partner with parents to provide exceptional care and education.
• Support recruitment and enrollment of new families and students.
• Maintain confidentiality of children, families, and staff information.
• Assist with coordinating program supplies, snacks, and materials.
• Prepare documentation and reports as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
• First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Childcare education background preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of supervisory experience in childcare preferred.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate children while managing behavioral challenges.
• Capable of light lifting and transporting program supplies.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Light physical activity with occasional lifting required.
• May involve extended periods of sitting or computer work.

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
