Job Summary
We’re seeking a dedicated Site Director to lead our after-school program and oversee daily operations. In this role, you’ll supervise a team of teachers, create a positive and safe learning environment, and build strong relationships with students, families, and school staff.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of teachers, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Foster a consistent, positive classroom culture for both students and staff.
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and enjoyable program environment.
- Motivate and support staff while upholding program standards and policies.
- Collaborate effectively with school staff, demonstrating professionalism under pressure.
- Ensure compliance with state and school guidelines.
- Maintain accurate attendance and program records using JackRabbit and other tools.
- Communicate with families using assigned Google Voice and email accounts.
- Partner with parents to provide exceptional care and education.
- Support recruitment and enrollment of new families and students.
- Maintain confidentiality of children, families, and staff information.
- Assist with coordinating program supplies, snacks, and materials.
- Prepare documentation and reports as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Childcare education background preferred.
- Minimum 6 months of supervisory experience in childcare preferred.
- Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate children while managing behavioral challenges.
- Capable of light lifting and transporting program supplies.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Light physical activity with occasional lifting required.
- May involve extended periods of sitting or computer work.
