Role Description The Project Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in our office in Waxahachie, TX. This position is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for industrial maintenance, repair, and capital projects by reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing labor, material, and equipment requirements, coordinating with our project managers, mechanical and refractory estimating teams to validate assumptions, and to develop detailed scopes of work for accuracy of quotations. The Project Estimator will track and update cost data that supports bid proposals, and assist in value engineering to optimize project cost and schedule. The role also involves communicating estimates and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders and clients while adhering to company standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications
- Strong cost management and budgeting skills to develop, track, and adjust project financials.
- Proficiency in construction estimating and project estimation for industrial maintenance, repair, and capital projects.
- Experience estimating in cement and similarly related mining sites, as well as power supply generating stations.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients and present estimate findings clearly.
- Experience using estimating software, spreadsheets, and related tools to prepare detailed takeoffs and cost breakdowns.
- Knowledge of industrial construction practices, materials, and labor productivity.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts to inform accurate estimates.
- Prior experience in project estimating or cost analysis in an industrial or construction environment is highly preferred.
