Full-Time CT/X-Ray Technologist
Elite Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a skilled and motivated CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our fast-growing diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent patient-care abilities, and a commitment to producing high-quality diagnostic images.
Job Summary
The CT/X-Ray Technologist will perform CT and X-ray examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. This position requires proficiency with imaging equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray examinations according to established protocols and procedures.
- Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate imaging.
- Maintain accurate patient records while protecting patient confidentiality.
- Verify patient information and ensure proper exam preparation.
- Provide compassionate and professional patient care throughout imaging procedures.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency with imaging software and electronic medical record systems.
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R.T.) required.
- CT certification/credentialing required or willingness to obtain as applicable.
- Limited X-Ray and NCT Technologists will not be considered.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and radiographic procedures.
- Proficiency in CT and X-ray equipment and imaging software.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and proper imaging protocols.
- Level II Trauma Center or ER experience preferred.
- CT experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality images.
Preferred Qualifications & Compensation
- Multimodality technologists preferred, especially CT/X-ray.
- Candidates with strong CT/X-ray and additional modality experience may qualify for a higher hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
- Advanced CT experience.
- Experience working in an ER or Level II Trauma Center.
- Experience with a variety of CT protocols and examinations.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic radiology and emergency imaging.
