The Strategic Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing workforce, financial, operational, and
marketing data to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role partners closely
with Finance and Operations leadership to optimize labor utilization, improve patient profitability, monitor
gross profit margins, and develop data-driven operational strategies.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen, analytical skills, operational understanding, and
business intelligence capabilities to drive organizational performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze workforce utilization, staffing costs, and productivity metrics
Evaluate employee compensation adjustments using operational and financial performance data
Monitor labor market trends and recommend competitive compensation strategies
Develop staffing and headcount forecasting models
Monitor patient-level and company-wide gross profit margins
Analyze authorized vs utilized hours and associated labor costs
Identify operational inefficiencies and profitability risks
Develop dashboards and KPI reporting tools for leadership
Create and maintain executive dashboards and scorecards
Automate recurring operational and financial reporting
Provide strategic recommendations based on trend analysis
Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
Track and categorize marketing expenses
Calculate marketing ROI and acquisition metrics
Analyze effectiveness of referral and advertising channels
Recommend budget allocation improvements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, Economics, or related field
3-7 years of analytical experience
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with business intelligence/reporting tools
Strong financial modeling experience
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Power BI/Tableau experience
SQL knowledge
Experience with payroll and scheduling systems
Understanding of labor management and margin analysis
