Pediatric and Adult's with disabilities RN will be responsible for providing patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Duties:
- Perform physical examinations and health assessments
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assist in medical procedures such as ventilating or dialyzing patients
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records following HIPAA guidelines
- Provide acute pain management interventions
- Practice aseptic techniques to prevent infections
Qualifications:
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse
- Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems like Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks
- Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring and interpretation
- Experience in physical examinations and patient assessment
- Knowledge of acute pain management techniques
- Ability to dialyze patients when required
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
