Busy Audiology Private Practice looking for a AUDIOLOGY ASSISTANT to perform a variety of administrative, hearing aid tech and clerical tasks. Duties of the AUDIOLOGY ASSISTANT include helping patients with hearing aid cleaning, basic hearing aid repairs, patient education, non-medical otoscopy, providing support to our Audiologists and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing incoming/outgoing hearing aid technology.

Including but not limited to the following
- Hearing aid cleaning, repairs and maintenance
- Bluetooth hearing aid troubleshooting
- non-medical otoscopy
- Compiles and uploads data for reports and records including purchase agreements and treatment acceptance forms.
- Prepares and maintains audiological inventory, supplies, stocking of supplies in treatment rooms, and equipment for treatments, including sterilization
- Orders/organizes supplies as needed
- Manages Accounts Receivable excel spreadsheet
- Calls for Invoice collecting
- Assists front desk with answering phones, scheduling patients
- Works in EMR and organizes function of EMR
- Neat and well-groomed appearance
- Attends required meetings
- Participates in professional development activities
- Maintains strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA guidelines
- EMR data entry
- Light office cleaning
SKILLS
- Understanding of Audiology, basic hearing aid function, license preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette, verbal, written and communication skills
- Excellent typing skills
- Ability to work as a team member AND independently
- Working knowledge of office equipment (printers, fax machines, phones)
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, MS outlook)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Multi tasking is a must as priorities will change throughout the entire day
- Audiology Assistant certificate preferred or 1 years experience IN AUDIOLOGY
On the job training for the right candidate without a license but must have at least 1 year in Audiology/Hearing Aids
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $23.00 per hour
