SUMMARY:
Industrial Maintenance Technician Level 1 is responsible for supporting the reliability and efficiency of equipment and facilities through routine maintenance, inspections, and basic troubleshooting. This role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance activities while working under the guidance of senior maintenance personnel. The Level 1 technician plays a key role in maintaining safe, functional, and efficient operations.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES·
- Execute routine maintenance tasks and inspections in accordance with established procedures and schedules.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to identify common equipment or facility issues.
- Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Support senior technicians during repairs, maintenance projects, and equipment servicing.
- Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Report safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, and maintenance needs promptly.
- Accurately document completed tasks, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding equipment status and maintenance needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or technical training in Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance systems and procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, bending, and working in varying conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
