What are the responsibilities and job description for the Epoxy / Polyaspartic Garage Floor Installer (Subcontract, Paid Per Job) position at Elite Floor Coatings?
Elite Floor Coatings is a new Jacksonville company installing flake garage floor coatings for homeowners. We handle the customers, quotes, deposits and materials. We need an experienced installer to do the floors.
You'll grind and prep the slab, repair cracks and pits, apply the epoxy base coat, broadcast flake to full coverage, scrape and vacuum, and apply the polyaspartic topcoat. Most jobs are two-car garages in the Jacksonville area, with the occasional patio or three-car garage.
What you bring
- Experience installing flake floor systems (epoxy, polyurea or polyaspartic), with photos of your work
- Your own hand tools and transport. A floor grinder is a plus, not a must: we rent one when you don't have your own, and you earn more per job when you do
- Reliable, tidy on site, comfortable in a customer's home
- Jacksonville area, with your own vehicle
What we provide
- The jobs, the customer, the quote and the deposit
- All materials (epoxy base, flake, polyaspartic topcoat, repair products), ordered to your spec
- The floor grinder and dust extractor (rented and delivered to the job) if you don't own one
- A set percentage of every job, paid the day the job is complete
- Steady work as volume grows, with first pick of jobs for our regular installer
How to apply
Reply with a few photos of recent floors, a short video of a floor going down if you have one (most installers film the flake throw), and whether you have your own grinder. Texting is fine: (904) 490-7961.
Pay: $500.00 - $900.00 per day
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
- Tools provided
People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
Application Question(s):
- Do you have experience installing flake garage floor coatings (epoxy, polyurea or polyaspartic)?
- Do you own a concrete floor grinder and dust extractor?
- Our pay is 15% of each job, about $500 on a two-car garage, or 24% with your own grinder. Does that work for you?
- Can you share photos or a short video of recent floors you’ve installed?
