Fire Protection Laborer / Apprentice
Kalispell, MT | Full-Time | Paid Apprenticeship Available
A locally owned and operated Fire Protection Company with multiple locations across Montana is seeking a motivated Laborer / Apprentice to join our field team in the Kalispell area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the fire protection industry. Company-paid apprenticeship available for the right candidate.
Construction experience is a plus, but willingness to learn and a strong work ethic matter most.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist crew members and site manager while learning fire protection systems
- Perform general construction and maintenance labor
- Clean and prepare job sites to eliminate safety hazards
- Operate hand tools and small power tools
- Assist with material handling and site organization
- Learn to read architectural drawings and blueprints (a plus)
Physical & Job Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders and operate lift equipment
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
- Physically capable of working in all weather and seasonal conditions
- Comfortable working on active construction sites
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license required
- Willingness to travel out of town as needed
