Fire Protection Laborer/Apprentice Needed - Bozeman/Billings MT
Locally owned and operated Fire Protection Company with multiple locations in Montana is seeking a general laborer who is a self-motivated, ambitious, interactive, communicative, detail-oriented, honest, and organized individual to perform tasks involving physical labor at project sites. A company paid apprenticeship program is available for those wanting to further their career in the fire protection industry. Under supervision of the site manager, candidate will provide support to field efforts on general construction labor sites as well as maintenance tasks. Construction experience is a plus! Starting wage is $25.00-$30.00 per hour depending on experience.
Job Details:
· Assist crew and site manager while learning about the fire protection industry.
· Clean and prepare project sites to eliminate possible hazards.
· Operate small hand and power tools.
· Ability to read architectural drawings and blueprints is a plus!
· Capability to climb ladders and operate high lift equipment.
· Must have the ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
· Must be in good physical condition and capable of working in all weather and seasonal conditions.
· Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, valid drivers license, and be 18 years of age or older.
· Out-of-town travel is often required. We provide housing and per-diem while working out of town as well as transportation to and from out-of-town locations.
