Fire Protection Service Tech/Inspector Needed

Locally owned and operated Fire Protection Company with multiple locations in Montana is seeking a Service Tech/Inspector who is detail oriented, self-motivated, trustworthy, honest, and organized to perform service work and inspections. ABPA Backflow certification is a plus! Starting wage is competitive and depends on experience.

· Must be licensed in Montana or have the ability to become licensed in Montana which requires completing an approved apprenticeship program; Level II NICET; and ability to pass a competency test.

· Must be efficient in dry systems, wet systems, alarm valves, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.

· Ability to read architectural drawings and blueprints.

· Ability to travel - out-of-town travel is required.

· Capability to work from ladders and lifts up to 40 feet or more.

· Capability to lift 80 pounds or more unassisted.

· Must be able to perform work from unusual and sometimes difficult positions.

· Must be computer literate.

· Must be able to work occasional alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer requirements.

· Must be in good physical condition and capable of working in all weather and seasonal conditions.

· Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, valid drivers license, and a clean driving record – DMV records will be pulled.
