Outside Sales Associate
We are seeking a driven and motivated Outside Sales Associate to join our growing fire protection and life safety company. This is a high-impact, field-based role focused on generating new business, building strong client relationships, and helping property owners and businesses stay compliant with fire safety regulations. The Role:
As an Outside Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company in the field—prospecting, educating, and closing new clients across your assigned territory. You’ll work directly with property managers, business owners, and facility operators to provide fire protection services such as inspections, testing, maintenance, and compliance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily field prospecting, including cold calls and in-person visits to local businesses, properties, and job sites
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory
- Present and sell fire protection services, including inspections, testing, and compliance solutions
- Perform in-person and virtual sales presentations tailored to client needs
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through consistent follow-up and account management
- Manage your sales pipeline from lead generation through closing and onboarding
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, scheduling, and administration) to ensure smooth service delivery
- Track activities, leads, and performance using CRM systems
- Stay informed on fire safety regulations and industry standards to effectively educate clients
- Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and strong communication
