Position Overview
As a Thread Rolling Machine Operator, you’ll play a crucial role in the production of our fasteners. First and second shift positions available (7:00am - 5pm or 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM, Monday through Thursday), with the possibility of overtime on Fridays. You will be responsible for operating thread rolling machines, ensuring the quality and precision of our products, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.
While we are looking for an experienced operator, training may be provided during first shift for the right candidate to ensure you are set up for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain thread rolling machines to produce fasteners according to quality standards
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications, including thread quality and overall dimensions
- Make adjustments to machines to maintain product accuracy and meet production targets
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment at all times
- Work efficiently to meet production goals, while ensuring product quality
- Perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting when needed
- Collaborate with the quality and production teams to resolve any issues and improve processes
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 1-2 years of experience operating thread rolling machines or similar manufacturing equipment
- Strong knowledge of fastener production processes and machine operation
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure product quality at every step
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals
- Basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance skills
- Strong commitment to safety and following established protocols
- Willingness to learn and improve with training opportunities available
