Custodial Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Custodial Supervisor to lead our cleaning and sanitation teams in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will lead a medium-sized team of 6-15 custodial staff, overseeing routine and specialized cleaning operations across multiple locations. This role requires managing schedules, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards while fostering strong team performance and customer service. Reporting to the Account Manager, the supervisor frequently travels to various sites to provide hands-on support and ensure operational excellence.

Shifts Available

• 1st Shift: 6am-3pm
• 2nd Shift: 2pm-11pm

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate custodial staff activities across multiple locations
• Oversee routine cleaning operations and specialized cleaning projects
• Manage staff schedules and staffing coverage
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
• Train and mentor custodial staff on procedures and safety compliance
• Maintain inventory and manage cleaning supplies
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory compliance
• Prepare reports for the Operations Manager on team performance and project status
• Provide excellent customer service and address site-specific concerns
• Engage in hands-on cleaning and problem-solving as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years in custodial services supervision
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in staff supervision and team leadership
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and quality control
• Familiarity with safety compliance requirements
• Inventory management skills
• Proficient in scheduling and resource planning
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
