Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from award through closeout.
- Maintain full responsibility for project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
- Develop and maintain project schedules while ensuring milestones and client expectations are achieved.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, design teams, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings and provide clear communication regarding project status, risks, and opportunities.
- Manage contracts, change orders, procurement, subcontractor agreements, and project documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Superintendents to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution in the field.
- Mentor and develop Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and other team members.
- Identify and proactively resolve project challenges while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- 8 years of electrical project management experience within commercial or industrial construction.
- Proven success managing large, complex electrical construction projects from inception through completion.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, and risk management.
- Experience managing project financials, including cost reporting, forecasting, and change management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry-standard project management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
