What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate / Order Picker position at Elite Events Rentals, LLC?
JOB DUTIES:
- Count, pull, sort, pack and place equipment/items in vehicles, on racks, shelves, or in bins according to the company standards
- Deliver rental items to various locations. Install equipment for events
- Quality control/inspection checks to make sure items meet company standards
- Preparing orders for pickup/delivery/shipment
- Meeting production standards set by the supervisor
- Operating carts, dollies, fork lifts, pallet jacks and other moving equipment as needed in order to move products throughout the warehouse
- Perform other duties as requested
- Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate procedures are followed
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Most work will be performed in a warehouse setting with exposure to outside elements
· Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
· May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to detergents, bleaches, and other cleaning chemicals.
· Repetitive bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items
· Some Night/Weekend work may be required
EDUCATION, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
· A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred but not required
· Must be able to lift/move approximately 50-70 lbs.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
· Ability to interpret directions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
· Attention to detail
· Rental industry experience is a plus
· Fork lift and pallet jack experience is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
