LOGISTICS & OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

Position Overview
Elite Events Catering is a premier catering and event production company specializing in high-end private events, corporate functions, and large-scale experiences throughout Tampa Bay and surrounding areas.
We are currently hiring a dependable, organiazed, and hands-on Logistics & Operations Associate to support warehouse operations, equipment logistics, sanitation, and on-site event setup. This is a critical operational role that supports both warehouse structure and live event execution.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Organize and maintain warehouse equipment and storage systems
- Wash, sanitize, and polish catering equipment
- Sort and stage equipment according to event packing sheets
- Load and secure trucks in organized sequence
- Track and report missing or damaged items
- Maintain clean and labeled storage zones
Transportation & Event Deployment
- Drive company vans or small box trucks (valid driver’s license required)
- Safely transport equipment to and from events
- Unload and stage equipment at event site
- Assist with full BOH (Back of House) setup
On-Site Event Support
- Set up sanitation station (handwash dish area)
- Serve as dishwasher and sanitation lead during service
- Maintain clean and organized BOH work environment
- Support culinary team with equipment flow
- Assist with event breakdown and repacking
Post-Event Responsibilities
- Load truck safely and in organized formal
- Confirm all equipment is accounted for before departure
- Assist with warehouse reset upon return
Schedule & Flexibility
- Event-based scheduling
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Hours vary based on event size and duration
Qualifications
- Valid and clean driver’s license (REQUIRED)
- Comfortable driving vans or small box trucks
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or event operations experience preferred
- Ability to lift 40–60 lbs safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and team-oriented
- Flexible schedule (early mornings, late nights, weekends)
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
- Demonstrates strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation standards, and equipment organization
