Electrician

Elite Drywall & Taping Inc. is looking for an experienced Electrician to work with our construction team on residential remodeling and renovation projects throughout the Bay Area.

We are looking for a reliable, experienced electrician who is comfortable working independently and coordinating with other trades on active construction sites. This position is primarily hourly/project-based, with opportunities for ongoing work depending on performance and upcoming projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical work for residential remodels and renovations
• Install and modify electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, and electrical devices
• Install and modify circuits as required by project scope
• Perform rough electrical and finish electrical work
• Install recessed lighting, LED lighting, switches, dimmers, and other fixtures
• Perform GFCI/AFCI-related work as required
• Troubleshoot existing electrical systems and identify electrical issues
• Coordinate electrical work with framing, drywall, plumbing, HVAC, and other trades
• Work according to approved plans, project specifications, and applicable electrical codes
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Communicate professionally with project managers, contractors, and homeowners
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality and workmanship standards

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a residential electrician
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and installation practices
• Ability to read electrical plans and understand project scope
• Experience with remodels and renovation work preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Own basic hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Good communication and professionalism
• Valid driver's license
• Electrical license/certification preferred, depending on scope of work

Compensation:

$29 – $50 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and scope of work.

This is an hourly/project-based position, with the potential for recurring work on future residential construction projects.

Work Area:

Projects are located throughout the Bay Area, including San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto, and surrounding areas.
