About the Role:
Elite Door Systems, LLC is looking for a driven and personable Sales Representative to join our growing team in Lockport, IL. In this role, you'll be the face of our company, connecting clients with top-tier dock and door solutions that keep businesses moving. Responsibilities:
- Generate and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and networking in the dock & door industry
- Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate customer needs for commercial dock and door systems
- Prepare and present accurate sales quotes, proposals, and product recommendations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial, industrial, and warehouse clients
- Coordinate with service and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Follow up on leads, track pipeline activity, and meet or exceed monthly sales targets
- Stay current on product knowledge including overhead doors, dock levelers, dock seals, and related equipment
Requirements:
- Prior sales experience, preferably in dock & door, construction, industrial equipment, or a related field
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or facility layouts is a plus
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory and work independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client site visits
- Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer applications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade background a plus
