Elite Document Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician for a full-time, on-site role based in Chicago, IL. This role involves diagnosing and repairing issues in office equipment such as copiers, printers, and multifunctional devices, as well as providing regular machine maintenance. Technicians will also install and configure new printing equipment, manage parts inventory for repairs, and provide end-user support on operational best practices. Customer service is a key component of this role, as well as providing prompt and effective technical support to ensure minimal downtime for client operations.
- Technical skills in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing office equipment, including copiers and printers
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including installation, networking, and configuring printing devices
- Experience in customer service or providing hands-on support to clients
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Valid driver's license and ability to commute to customer sites within the Chicago area
