Elite Cutover Connections is hiring Fiber Installer Technicians to help connect communities. Our technicians are the face of our company, responsible for in-home fiber installations and delivering exceptional customer service.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform hands-on work at customer homes and ensure services are working properly
- Educate customers on how to use their new services
- Use hand tools and test equipment; safely drive to job sites throughout the region
- Keep work vehicles stocked, clean, and organized; complete accurate paperwork
Experience in one or more of the following:
- FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) installations
- Fiber internet installations
- CATV or broadband installations
- Telecommunications field work
- Low-voltage installations
- Internet service provider (ISP) field operations
- Service technician or field technician experience
What We’re Looking For:
- Motivated individuals with great customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and punctual
- Physically able to lift 75 lbs and work on ladders up to 25’
- Age 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to climb ladders and work from building exteriors or elevated locations
- Comfortable working at heights, in crawl spaces, and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Professional work ethic and ability to work independently in the field
- Must be willing to travel and stay away from home for extended periods as required by project assignments
