About the Role
Elite Contractors Group is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Field Inspector to handle our initial project inspections. When we receive a lead, you’ll be the one going on-site, assessing the damage, documenting the scope of repairs, and helping homeowners with basic material selections. You’ll also be responsible for collecting insurance deductibles. This role sets the tone for the entire project, so professionalism and strong customer service matter.
What You’ll Do
- Complete 2–4 on-site initial inspections per day
- Identify and notate the full scope of repairs needed
- Take accurate photos, measurements, and detailed notes
- Communicate inspection details clearly to the office and estimator
- Assist customers with selecting materials such as flooring, paint, and finishes
- Provide clear explanations of damage and repair recommendations
- Collect insurance deductibles when required
- Represent the company professionally at every visit
What We’re Looking For
- Solid construction experience (general trades, drywall, flooring, structural, or similar)
- Ability to recognize damage and understand repair processes
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with homeowners and guiding them through next steps
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
- Reliable transportation to and from the office (company vehicle provided for all job travel)
- Clean driving record
Nice to Have
- Insurance restoration experience
- Familiarity with scopes, estimates, or job documentation systems
Compensation
$50,000 to $65,000 per year
Pay depends on experience and ability to manage inspections, documentation, customer communication, and deductible collection confidently.
