What are the responsibilities and job description for the Directional Drill Foreman position at Elite Contracting Group?

- Supervise a directional drill crew, making sure work is compliant with established job specifications and standards
- Serve as point of contact with company crews, inspectors, subcontractors and vendors
- Operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to directional drills and locators
- Provide support to other construction activities
- Provide updates on project progress as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum five years of directional drilling and locating experience
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- Knowledge of utility depths and placements
- General knowledge of construction practices
- Proven ability to lead others
- Class A CDL license with acceptable driving record
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas
- Must be able to lift, push, and carry 50 – 70 pounds
- Must be able to work in various conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat and cold
- Must be able to work Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 5:00PM; additional work, including on-call, may be required
- Must be willing to travel as needed (Monday – Friday)
