Position Summar

yElite Connector is partnering with a manufacturer to find an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a hands-on individual contributor role (NO direct report) responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, cost accounting, financial reporting, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting, standard costing, and financial analysis

Key Responsibiliti

• esManage the daily activities of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function
• s.Review and approve daily production costing transaction
• s.Prepare and analyze cost reports, monitor production variances, and identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficienc
• y.Investigate and resolve standard costing issues by reviewing bills of materials (BOMs), routing, and work center overhead rate
• s.Review engineering and BOM changes and update standard costs as necessar
• y.Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activitie
• s.Record and allocate payroll transactions following payroll processin
• g.Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciatio
• n.Complete monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancie
• s.Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentatio
• n.Prepare monthly financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statemen
• t.Provide financial reports and analysis to senior leadership to support business decision
• s.Assist with year-end financial reporting and coordinate with external auditors by preparing schedules and supporting documentatio
• n.Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), cost accounting standards, and company policie
• s.Develop and recommend process improvements and internal controls to enhance accounting efficiency and accurac

Qualificati

• onsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fie
• ld.Previous experience in an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant role preferr
• ed.Strong cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment is requir
• ed.Experience with standard costing, inventory valuation, and production variance analys
• is.Proficiency with general ledger accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end clo
• se.Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practic
• es.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skil
• ls.Ability to analyze large volumes of financial data with a high degree of accura
• cy.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departmen
