Position Summar
yElite Connector is partnering with a manufacturer to find an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a hands-on individual contributor role (NO direct report) responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, cost accounting, financial reporting, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. Key Responsibiliti
- esManage the daily activities of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function
- s.Review and approve daily production costing transaction
- s.Prepare and analyze cost reports, monitor production variances, and identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficienc
- y.Investigate and resolve standard costing issues by reviewing bills of materials (BOMs), routing, and work center overhead rate
- s.Review engineering and BOM changes and update standard costs as necessar
- y.Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activitie
- s.Record and allocate payroll transactions following payroll processin
- g.Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciatio
- n.Complete monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancie
- s.Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentatio
- n.Prepare monthly financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statemen
- t.Provide financial reports and analysis to senior leadership to support business decision
- s.Assist with year-end financial reporting and coordinate with external auditors by preparing schedules and supporting documentatio
