HR Manager – Brooklyn, NY
A respected and rapidly expanding home care agency, headquartered in Brooklyn, is seeking a hands-on HR Manager ( Open to Director-Level HR Professionals) to serve as the primary HR lead for its main office. The organization supports clients throughout New York City and surrounding regions, reflecting a broad and established operational footprint.

About the Role
This position offers true independence. You will run the day-to-day HR operations for the Brooklyn office, serve as the first point of contact for all HR matters, and support supervisors and staff across the organization. You will also oversee a small offshore support team (experience helpful but not required).
Key Responsibilities
- Employee relations (top priority)
- Leading complex and sensitive HR conversations
- Handling performance reviews, salary evaluations, and raise requests
- Managing disciplinary processes with professionalism and fairness
- Overseeing internal communication and supporting office-wide culture
- Supporting recruiting & onboarding (training provided if needed)
- Maintaining HR compliance and accurate documentation
Industry background is flexible — what matters most is maturity, strong judgment, and excellent communication skills.
🕘 Schedule & Environment
- In-office Monday–Thursday
- Fridays end at 12 PM
- Option for one remote Friday per month
- Flexible Friday start (9–11 AM)
