Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automatic & Manual Door Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automatic door systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Technician will be working in Collier, Lee, Hendry, Sarasota & Charlotte Counties is SW FL
Key Responsibilities
- Install automatic door systems, including sliding, swinging, and revolving doors
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on installed systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and industry standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members on job progress
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in good condition
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- AAADM Certification
- Previous experience in automatic door installation, construction, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical ability
- Ability to lift heavy materials (50 lbs) and work at heights when necessary
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Skills
- Experience with access control systems or commercial door hardware
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic control systems
