Job Description:
As a housekeeper with us, you are a key member of the Elite Care team. You'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the residents’ rooms, the common areas, the office, indoor meeting spaces, and company vehicles. You also play an important role in infection control in community-based care and contribute to the sense of tidiness and well-being. To succeed in this role, you must have an eye for detail, be dedicated to the highest standards of cleanliness, and tackle daily tasks with a pleasant and positive attitude.
Location: 12353 SW Grant Ave, Tigard, OR 97223
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Pay Range: $18 to $21 per hour (based on experience level)
Job Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Mop floor.
- Clean sink, sink fixtures, and mirror.
- Empty trash.
- Scrub toilet inside and out.
- Clean windowsill and window.
- Wipe down light switches.
- Dust light fixtures and fan panel on the ceiling.
- Check all levels and all surfaces for cobwebs and remove them.
- Run a duster along molding, baseboards, blinds, and tops of window frames.
- Dust all furniture, light fixtures, ceiling fans, and shelving.
- Dust knick-knacks with a feather duster (if needed, pick them up and dust under them).
- Vacuum, including in corners and under furniture (except heavy pieces).

Qualifications:- 18 years or older.
- Love, respect, and value elders.

- Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers, residents, and residents’ families.
- Ability to communicate with elders and others in a positive way.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to read work orders, log progress, and converse with the residents.
- Knowledge of house cleaning practices.
- A love of making things clean.
- Able to stay on feet and remain active throughout scheduled shift.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds occasionally and vacuums and cleaning supplies routinely.
- Ability to push the cleaning cart.
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, squat, and reach to clean every area of each room.
- Ability to climb ladders as needed for reaching dust and dirt on ceilings and fans.
- Ability to stay on task and follow a structured cleaning schedule.
